I’m in the mood for a book that will leave me wondering WTF did I just read. I’m pretty open to most genres, reading levels, etc.
Some books I’ve read that I think would fit are “Time Snake and Super Clown,” “Geek Love,” and “The Obscene Bird of Night.” Please add your best suggestions to my list!

i won’t give away the whole plot (though i’m still not exactly sure what it is), but in one part there’s a character named Redboy who has huge hairy man arms and the beak of a giant bird and he repeatedly bashes his face into a plate of raw bloody meat while sitting at the dinner table.
keep in mind that the book begins innocently enough with a woman leaving her cabin to collect berries for her husband and son. but then everything slowly goes to shit and we’re in crazytown.
The Raw Shark Texts by Steven Hall. What… why… I loved it though. It was a whole experience reading it!
