Am I the only one who didn’t like this book? I loved Better Than The Movies and Betting on You btw.
Every where I go I see only praises for the book and it makes me feel like I might have missed something lol.
I think I would’ve liked it better if it was revealed that Nick was stuck in the time loop as well, because him going along with that whole DONC thing made no sense. He’s described as an introverted and anti social person but he immediately agrees when Emilie asks him to ditch the class and go out w her, and even proceeds to fall for her in like 10 hours when they’ve barely even interacted before. Emilie falling for him was understandable because she’s lived that day over and over.
And not to mention whatever happened after the DONC, him ghosting her and making her cry when she asked him about it….😬
TLDR: The romance felt super forced and rushed.
