I’m looking for books that offer insights, whether through fiction or non-fiction, on how to embrace or transform the everyday drudgery into something more bearable, if not outright enjoyable. Perhaps books that offer philosophical perspectives, practical advice, or simply stories of characters or individuals who have navigated similar feelings.
What books have you turned to in moments where life felt overwhelmingly monotonous? Which authors have helped you find beauty in the ordinary or encouraged you to live more intentionally and joyfully, even amidst routine?
Thanks!

*Man’s Search for Meaning* – Viktor Frankl.
The Nordic Theory of Everything.
Educated.
Green Dot by Madeleine Gray. It’s fiction and doesn’t really have practical advice (the main character’s “solution” is to have an affair with her coworker), but I found it deeply relatable with regard to drudgery.
