I’m looking for non-fiction recs about ordinary people who find themselves in extraordinary situations.
Most recently I enjoyed Wavewalker by Suzanne Heywood but have previously enjoyed Jon Krakauer books, especially Into Thin Air. Anything to do with people travelling to interesting places, finding themselves in situations they’re not prepared for, or setting out with grand ambitions and things not turning out how they expected.
