Looking for a good book to explain ADHD
My daughter (7f) and I (37f) have both been recently diagnosed with ADHD. My husband is neurotypical. I feel he is sometimes having a hard time understanding his ADHD girls.
Could anyone recommend a book that explains ADHD (especially if it takes into consideration how it presents differently for females ADHDers) and also give some good parenting or support strategies? Ideally it should be clearly written as English is my husband’s second language (but he’s fluent) and not too long winded as he works long hours and is short on leisure time.
I know I’m asking for something really specific. That’s why I came here instead of Google. I appreciate any suggestion so much!
