What are some sad melancholy books that gives you unusual comfort?

searching for a sad… book that takes you places…that levitates your soul and weirdly makes you feel good? it can be of any genre…i dont mind. just needs to fit the description i just said…I’ve been in such a dark place lately and I just need something to help pull me out of it… something to make me feel again. Do you know of any books that might help with that? — just something that can reach deep inside me and give me a jolt of energy or emotion or something… I don’t even know what I’m looking for really, I guess. I just need something to make me feel alive again. Do you know of anything like that? Anything that could make me feel things again?
