To stories like the lliad and the Odessy they don’t need to be epics but a similar fashion of semi anonymous writers or just something of similar cultural importance.
Journey to the West by Wu Cheng’en the classic and influential story from China

The Aeneid is the obvious answer, though The Golden Ass is also very good (and I have a soft spot for Lucian’s True History). The Bhagavad Gita (Hindu) is a big one, though technically a section of the Mahabharata. There’s the Shahanahmeh (Persian), Beowulf (English), and you may be interested in the Norse sagas. Also the four great classical novels of Chinese literature: Water Margin, Journey to the West, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Dream of the Red Chamber.
