I’m looking for a new series, long or short, either in sci-fi/fantasy or mystery. I’m not averse to a deeper story, but nothing too dark or depressing (for example, I’ve read quite a lot of Jo Nesbo but find them a little dark for me at the moment). Something funny in places but with a good plot and excellent characterisation (like Terry Pratchett) would be ideal.
