I’ve been sick (with no diagnosis in sight), and just not doing well mentally, either, so I’ve been reading a lot more.
I’d love some suggestions for books that are comforting, funny, or thoughtful, and quickly engaging as my attention span is low right now. My preference is fiction, but I’m willing to try something new like self-help, psychology, or nonfiction books.
I’d especially love any books/authors similar to Matt Haig’s “The Midnight Library”.
Thank you!

Are you open to true crime? Idk if it’s “comforting” unless you find comfort in knowing that it’s not you that’s either the victim or the perpetrator of a crime.
