I’m looking for a love story that isn’t cringey or corny and ideally wouldn’t be easy to predict from the first chapter. For instance I did not like the Unhoneymooners but I did really like The Light We Lost. When I was in high school I loved Jellicoe Road, though probably looking for a more adult rather than young adult book (but I’m open!). They don’t have to end up together necessarily; I just want to read a love story. The love story doesn’t have to be the main or only plot line but should be important.
