Hey all, I’ve previously read and throughly enjoyed all of Sarah J Mass’ books, fourth wing, and read and mostly enjoyed many similar YA or new adult series like blood and ash, serpent and dove, these hollow vows, bridge kingdom, cruel prince, etc.
I am currently reading the priory of the orange tree and LOVING it, I forgot how wonderful epic fantasies are with the complex world building and I enjoy the whole multiple character stories that merge into one main plot. Moreover, imo Shannon uses more complex language as compared to some of the books I’ve been reading which is refreshing.
I love anything with magic, dragons, courts, etc. and find I enjoy books with female leads/narrators much more than those with male protagonists.
I enjoy romance but am not a huge fan of the whole plot being about the romance, there needs to be a greater conflict/challenge that the protagonist is facing. Then finding a love interest should be the cherry on top.
Any series recommendations would be much appreciated!
