Great book generally explaining how stock markets work. Largely free of technical jargon, however economic terms are used. Booms, busts, supply demand, etc explained using contemporary (for the time written) and historical examples.
This guy is a PhD economist. I sent off an email to him, positively commenting on the book.
I got a personal reply, and I genuinely believe that he penned it.
