Hello !
Just as the title says… I’m looking for books or even better, series of book to read.
I haven’t been a big reader for ages but I used to when I was younger though!
I’m going through some stuff at the moment and struggle a lot with anxiety.
Reading has been a great help so far but I don’t know what to ready next as my current book is ending.
Here are the books I’ve loved / reread recently and that helped me get out of my head :
– Harry Potter
– The hobbit
– The spook apprentice
– The farseer trilogy and most books in the same world by Robin Hobb
– Game of thrones
– Percy Jackson
– Eragon
– The sword of truth
I’ve also read Pride and Predjudice and loved it, although I’m not sure if I’d like to read more of that genre.
Some of those titles were clearly written for children or teenagers though, now that I’ve grown I prefer more adults characters in order to picture myself more in the story if that makes sense.
So… now that you know the types of books I’ve enjoyed:
What would you recommand for me to read?
What books helped you out when feeling down?
Thank you in advance for all / any replies, it will definitely mean a lot.

You might enjoy the the Dark Tower series by Stephen King.
Red Rising series. It’s an epic space opera with the great houses and families and wars of Game of Thrones, the chosen one kind of Harry Potter vibes.
They are awesome.
The House in the Cerulean Sea as a palate cleanser?
The Aurthurian legend series Camulod Chronicles by Jack Whyte.
Start with The Skystone
Edit for punctuation
No one has suggested Brandon Sanderson yet. Read Warbreaker and if you like it you can start one of his bigger series
Not a series, but I think you’d like it given your list: [Nettle & Bone by T. Kingfisher](https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/56179377)
Since you read Pride and Prejudice you might enjoy the spoof, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
Super powered is a good 4 book series (the 5th one is in between 3 and 4), if you like marvel type stuff.
The Hunger Games
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
