i just finished this book & its constantly been on my mind since i did. what do yall think happened at the beach? did demon & angus like go fully into a relationship as far as acting like a couple or did it happen gradually after that? did they move back to virginia or go somewhere else because demon still couldnt go back to live there? did demon ever go see maggot? keep in touch with maggot, aunt june, ms. annie, etc? did he end up getting High Ground published? did demon & angus have the happily ever after? UGH I JUST KEEP THINKING ABOUT THE AFTER & IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY!! i would love to know demon’s reaction to seeing the ocean 😭

I deliberately don’t want to think about it because the statistics of addicts staying sober is so depressing and because I wasn’t thrilled about the idea of Demon and Angus as a romantic couple. I just like to focus on the moment at the end where Demon was in a good place in his life and other people he cared about we’re doing better, and leave it at that.
