Anything, everything. I love zombies. It’s a hyperfixation of mine. But it’s so tedious to find good zombie books, and reading a thousand horror/sci-fi covers to weedle down to a select ten that just *happen* to have zombies… My ADHD kills my motivation to read INSTANTLY!
So if anyone has any suggestions, I’d love to hear them! Reddit has been especially kind in answering my questions thus far, so I’d love to hear from the community!
I’ve just finished reading the 2021 Novel “The Living Dead,” (and loved it) so no need to recommend that one! ♡

The Reapers Are the Angels by Alden Bell is my favorite zombie book.
David Wellington’s Monster Island was tons of fun!
Under a Graveyard Sky by John Ringo
Read World War Z. It’s a collection of short stories that may hold your attention better. One of the few books I never get tired of re reading.
Abaddon Books have a bunch of titles of stand-alone zombie novels, various settings. It’s called Tomes of the Dead
Mira Grant’s Newsflesh series – it’s amazing, and very different to the typical zombie story.
Adrian’s Undead Diary by Chris Philbrook
[Autumn](https://www.davidmoody.net/books-2/the-autumn-series/autumn/?doing_wp_cron=1709511057.0767960548400878906250) by David Moody
Weedle is that like whittle?
Junkie Quatrain by Peter Cline
The Seven Habits of Highly Infective People
copying my last comment on this matter:
Omg finally my time has come!! Allison Hewitt is Trapped by Madeleine roux, Sadie Walker Is Stranded by Madeleine roux, Dead City by Joe McKinney, Apocalypse of the Dead by Joe McKinney, Flesh Eaters by Joe McKinney, Dead of night by Jonathan Maberry, Rise of the Governor by Robert Kirkman, Road to Woodbury by Robert Kirkman, Undead by John Russo. World war Z is alright, I found myself very bored with the way it was written and struggled to finish reading it.
The Girl with all the Gifts is a great one!
Day by Day Armageddon by JL Bourne was fantastic.
The Rot and Ruin series by Jonathan Maberry. Its YA so reads easy, and if you like it there are like 5 more books!
Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter.
Contaminated by Em Garner.
It’s YA and it actually takes place after a zombie like outbreak where everyone is just trying to put things back together.
Thank you all for the great suggestions!! I’ll be reading these for a while now ♡
It’s a lot more downstated and not that horror-ish, but I enjoyed Ling Ma’s Severance 🙂
