So another fun and pulpy novel completed tonight! “The Evil Inside” written by Heather Graham.
For many years Lexington House stood looking over the ragged New England coastline. It has born witness to madness and murder, but for a long while that seemingly inexplicable malevolence that tormented many has fallen silent, until recently.
Jenna Duffy, who is a member of the foremost paranormal forensic team in the nation, has made her career from investigating the such inexplicable events. But nothing could’ve prepared her for a series of slayings that once again plague Lexington House and the chief suspect, a young who is barely old enough to drive, let alone committing murder.
With this young man’s life on the line now, Jenna pairs up with Samuel Hall, an attorney, to find out just who, or what, is murdering those who get to close to the past. But with everything they learn it brings them much closer to evil forces that stalk the grounds of the house.
Of course, anyone who has read this will know that it is a part of a trilogy called “Krewe of Hunters”, and of course “The Evil Inside” is the third installment of this series. This is pretty much a supernatural thriller mixed with police procedural or a crime drama. It’s not the greatest or the most perfect of novels, but it’s decent none the less. And fun!
