I absolutely loved this book. While I still have many classics to read this is by far my favorite book I have ever read. Kesey’s perspective switches were great and I became very attached to the characters. Hank Stamper is a beautifully written character that shows the perils of being a stereotypical man.
Anyways no book afterwards has made me feel the way this one did. The climax was the most heart wrenching thing I’ve ever read and the ending was very satisfying. I am currently reading Lonesome Dove and I just got East of Eden. I also want to read some Faulkner. If you guys have any recommendations for books that hit a similar note that would be great.
