I don’t exactly know where to ask this, or really what to ask.
I want to find a spot with beautiful scenic views where I can sit and read books and listen to music. I’ve been thinking of areas like the Rockies (US or Canada) with beautiful mountain and/or lake/river views.
My partner and I love to travel, but sometimes you just want something low-key and beautiful.
Places we’ve been include Pacific Costa Rica, Belize/North Barrier Reef, Paris, Amsterdam, Belgium, and Cologne (I don’t think Germany is appropriate to say as a whole). I have been in, or traveled through, 38 states, mainly missing the west coast and upper northeast. We’re obviously not opposed to international travel, but national travel is also great!
So I ask my fellow readers, what places have you vacationed where you have just been able to sit and enjoy the scenery or vibe and just read?
Edit: I have lived in KY and TN my whole life, not really looking in that area of the world.
