I’m really in the mood for a fantasy book that is wild and out there. Ideally medieval fantasy so that I can turn it into dnd ideas easier.. but not at all a requirement. My favorite books are first person dialogue heavy and I’m looking for something where the world building is .. trippy? Like deep and mysterious, wild and out there, but tense.
I enjoyed lexicon a lot, and the video game “control” kinda has the vibe I’m going for. Something cerebral. Another video game reference, but death stranding fits.
If there’s a better term for this please lmk cause I feel like an idiot trying to describe the idea haha.
