I know I’m kind of late to the party, but I just finished reading ‘The Shards’ by Bret Easton Ellis, which I got quite obsessed with, and I’m left with so many unanswered questions.
I can’t really make up my mind who the Trawler is. In the end it doesn’t even really matter that much, I guess. It’s fun to come up with hypothesis though.
I guess we met him at some point, since it’s said he got familiar with the people around the ‘God’, Robert Mallory.
Still, whenever he sends Bret stuff, he always miswrites his name, like he knows him but not that good as to know how to properly spell his name.
