The Book that Would Not Burn by Mark Lawrence is all about a magical library. It’s the first book in an unfinished trilogy, but he’s a reliable author, and book 2 is due to be published in April. I’d expect book 3 in about a year.

Library of the Dead by TL Huchu has a magic library, but despite the name, it’s only tangentially relevant to the plot.

Scholomance is a great one from Naomi Novik that strongly features a magical library full of secrets and legitimate danger of death. It’s ultimately a ‘magic school’ story but with a darker tone than is typical and, as the books progress, fun metaphors about privilege and exploiting the pain of the less fortunate. Great book (series – 1 of 3). The magic library is most prominent in book 1, but magic books remain important throughout.
(Edit – ‘A Deadly Education’ is the proper title of book 1).
