Did anybody else find this book borderline unreadable? I’ll admit I prefer fiction, but the non-fiction books I do read are always anthropological, and I’m very interested in Salem and witch trials in general, so I thought it would be a good read. But oh my god. How did the author manage to make such an interesting and bizarre topic so boring? It was so devoid of life that after a single sentence my eyes would just glaze over. I couldn’t even get through it in the end. Anyone agree? Or did some people out there love it?
