Our son is very mature for his age. He is very intelligent as well. However, he has been starting to use these traits to manipulate the truth and has been lying the past few days on whether his homework is done and other little things like that. This just started in the past week or so, and we’re sure it’s just a phase but we want to double down on the importance of honesty while he is grounded for a few days.
We want him to read a book that stresses the importance of honesty, or highlights the hard life of a liar. He is in third grade and is very advanced for his age. He often reads chapter books with no pictures that have 200-350 pages and has no problems with them.
If you have any books that come to mind with all this being said, please let me hear them!!!
