Listen. My journey started with TJ Klune when my friend recommended I read The house in the cerulean sea. They told me it was queer friendly and would leave me sobbing.

    They were not wrong.

Now I’ve moved on to his newest series (still being produced/continued!!) and I feel shattered. The Green Creek series is beautifully written. I finished Wolfsong and Ravensong within four days; ingesting them like a ravenous animal. I feel raw, and tired, heartbroken and filled with the color blue with a hint of green. Sadness… with a hint of relief.

Cause everything is candy canes and pine cones, epic and awesome.

Yes TJ Klune is a very good author but just a heads up the Green Creek series is from like 2016 and was wrapped up a few years ago with book 4 aka isn’t new and I don’t believe being continued from my understanding.

The fourth book in Green Creek made me holler and cry and all manner of things. I was genuinely impressed with the decision to show us a different PoV every book, with Ravensong being my favourite. That scene at Gordo’s house when Mark comes back to town briefly haunted me for how it depicted the spite felt after the loss of a relationship. I wanted to shake Gordo but I understood so deeply the raw emotion of being left behind and wanting to hurt the ones who dared to think you’d just wait for them.
