I’m looking for a book that our family can listen to while on a long road trip. We’ll be in the car for about 15 hours total so I’m looking for one or two books we can all get really into. We have an 8 year old and 6 year old.
We’ve already listened to all the Harry Potter books on prior road trips, and those were perfect since everyone enjoyed them (even if the youngest didn’t understand it all).
Fantasy and historical fiction are our faves, but we’re open to everything! Bonus if it takes place somewhere in the desert or west as that’s where our trip will be (but this is definitely not a requirement).

How about the Percy Jackson series? I also loved the HP audiobooks. The narrator was perfect.
