Hey everyone!
So I’ve been on a book reading frenzy lately and my only source for reviews and book suggestions is Reddit and Goodreads. Obviously everyone here has different tastes and genre preferences, so I’ve recently been on the lookout for book influencers (is that what they’re called?) or podcasts whose taste and preferences are similar to mine so I can refer back to them whenever I’m looking for my next read.
I don’t know if anything like that exists, but if it does, then who do you usually listen to? And it would be awesome if you could give me suggestions for podcasts or online book influencers who review fantasy novels, crime thrillers, literary fiction (contemporary or realistic) or non fiction (memoirs in particular)?

I do sometimes watch book reviews/reading vlogs/what I’ve read in a month type videos on YouTube and do enjoy Jen Campbell (a lot of contemporary literature? She reads books shortlisted or longlisted for literary prizes among others), caricanread (a lot of modern fantasy and romance) and withcindy (hilarious to me, but you need to click with her humour!).
I have picked up a few books due to their reviews/videos, but I also watch them for entertainment and not just looking for books to read!
I’d be interested in someone reviewing fantasy without big romantic plots in them, too, so interested in the potential recs you get!
Why not start a podcast? I’d be happy to co host if you wanted.
