Book for my dads birthday

My dad is a reading machine so it would have to be a new book to ensure he hasn’t read it before. His interests are endless and he seems to know a bit about everything. He likes to learn something reading, prefering biographys and things like Sapiens, a brief history of humankind. Yet he still enjoys a cheesy novel like Dan Brown, Da Vinci Code. However he hates self help and pop psychology
