    The Little Prince.
Isn’t this one of the cutest books ever written? How beautiful is the perspective of pure innocence… For me it is the best fiction book I have ever read. The most deepest answers of life are actually found in a child’s perspective.

    You agree?
Can you recommend me please more books like this! 🙂 A Children’s book fit for adults.

    1. So, I definitely wouldn’t call it a children’s book, but in terms of matching Little Prince’s feel the closest thing I can think of is The Last Unicorn.

Come to think of it, I wouldn’t call Little Prince a children’s book either.

I absolutely agree! The wisdom of this book is amazing. A book for adults, written in the style of a children’s book, such a great idea! I own it in 5 languages and even got a tattoo inspired by it 🙂

I don’t think anything comes close to it, though. I have started reading children’s books like *Mary Poppins*, *Matilda* or *Winnie Pooh* and find them similiarly sweet but not as deep and meaningful.

The books that I found most inspiring in terms of messages are *The life list* by Lori Nelson Spielman and *The little Paris bookshop* by Nina George. They are very quotable and wholesome and have really good lessons hidden in the story.

The only other book from a child’s perspective I found impressive is *The boy in the striped pyjamas*, but that’s a really heavy read. Amazingly well executed but deep and sad and tragic – so definitely not like the Little Prince…
