I’m looking to read more Irish literature, or just books that take place in Ireland.
When I was younger I read Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man and Ulysses and loved both of those, and I’ve been reading some of Claire Keegan, but so far only Foster and Small Things Like These
I know those are two widely different time periods lol, but it’s just to show I like literature that is personal, introspective, and heartfelt. But I’m also up for anything really, and I do also like how Small Things was with the backdrop of historical context and events in the country, which I’m also trying to educate myself more with
