After growing up in a shaming environment I am still struggling with sticking up for myself, however I know deep down that I am worth much more than the automatic thoughts would suggest. Sadly my whole country is struggling with massive self worth issues and self repression and the consequences of unexplored trauma, so it’s really hard to lean on the outside world for help. I would like to find a few books that I can start leaning on for reminder in every circumstance that I am and we are collecively worth of being a much more connected, truthful, trusting, abundant human beings than we like to allow ourselves to be.
