I just finished 2 awesome books, In the Heart of the Sea, and Butcher’s Crossing. I absolutely flew through these and enjoyed them immensely. Any good suggestions in a similar history theme? In the Heart of the Sea was based on actual events with some fiction filled in and Butcher’s Crossing was entirely fictional. Thanks in advance!

Unless something in the book has been debunked and I haven’t heard about it, In the Heart of the Sea is entirely non-fiction. Fantastic book though. Check out The Wager by David Grann for something similar (also non-fiction)
You may like The Wager, that was a big book this summer about the ill fated voyage to South America and the ship wrecking, mutiny and cannibalism, it’s nonfiction.
