I’m talking Vikings and shit. I’ve been reading some books and was wondering if there’s cool books that has Vikings or Norse mythology or just that setting. I prefer fiction, or historical fiction
Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman does a great job of telling the Norse myths in a style similar to modern storytelling.
Northworld by David Drake is a sci-fi that draws heavily on Norse Myths
Eaters of the Dead by Michael Crichton is a historical fiction (more fiction than historical) that takes place in the 10th century. It was adapted into the movie The 13th Warrior
The Saxon Stories is a series of Historical Fiction books by Bernard Cornwell. It centers around a Saxon who was raised by Vikings and eventually helps King Alfred unite England into one kingdom. It was adapted into the Netflix series The Last Kingdom
