I used to love fantasy books more than any other genre but lately I’ve been struggling to get through the first hundred pages of all the latest YA fantasy. Idk if I’ve just grown out of them or just don’t like fantasy anymore. I tried reading a Court of Thorns and Roses, Shadow and Bone and the Cassandra Claire shadow hunter series and find myself giving up almost immediately. Any recommendations for Fantasy that isn’t quite YA but still an easy read?

A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik is a great story set at a magical school that is right on the edge of YA and new adult.
The Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson might work for you. It’s not YA, but has accessible writing, young characters, and is easy to follow.
