The obvious answer is to read more and I know but the problem is more than that I think. When I read I have struggle both reading and imagining. Like, if I have an audiobook it’s easy. I read fast and I imagine well. I guess it’s because I don’t really have time to think or what not with both audio and reading myself but I can’t afford an audiobook for every book nor do I want to. I want to be a better reader. I’m sure someone out there has had this or a similar problem. How should I go about it? I have a few books I want to read so that’s not the problem. It’s just that when I do read it’s not productive because my mind slowly wanders off as I only read the words and not imagine the bigger picture. Sorry if this is not the right place, let me know and I can delete it.
