Traveling to Austin TX U.S.A. and would like to read something historical (fiction or non fiction) about the area before I go

Please recommend something.

Like I’m reading Michener‘s Alaska before o go there next summer. But that’s pretty hefty and I know Michener has Texas, but I kinda wanted something more specific to Austin since it has such a unique culture of its own
