A book about a person who got falsely imprisoned for evading draft. Following his story in prison, where he wrote a book about his struggles and published it via an inmate he befriended who got out before him. Also written from the perspective of his friend who was fighting in the war. And his spouse who was looking for him. And upon finding the book he wrote, finds him and fights to get him out.
