Need a book that I can engage with mentally/psychologically

I need something I can sink my teeth into. Here are examples of what I’ve read in the recent past that have made me think:
The Midnight Library, Crime and Punishment, Stoner, A Gentleman in Moscow, the Death of Ivan Illych, American Gods. Any suggestions you could add? Thanks!!
