I picked it up off my shelf the other week (after looking at for twenty years) and I finished reading it yesterday afternoon. I certainly did not hate it. There were moments I thought were brilliant, and others I had to really wade through. Overall though I don’t know how I feel about it? I do not know anybody I would recommend it to – because at 1200 pages she a bit thicc for the readers I talk to – and I do not know anyone else who may have read something so obscure.
I enjoyed the eroticism, but the world building was underwhelming. I enjoyed the characters, but I did not end up caring about them. Has anyone read this book and walked away with a good/bad opinion?

I liked it. Weaveworld is better, but he never finishes anything, so….
I loved it but could’ve used some editing in places.
