I don’t read a whole lot but most of the books I have read were teen romance books written by women, and I loved them but I just want to read one from the perspective of a boy that I could possibly relate to. I read if he had been with me and I know there is a book with the perspective of the boy in that book, and I do plan on reading that soon, but I just want to see the difference in how the characters will be written. And If he had been with me is a good example actually of the flavor of book I’m looking for. And I just want to clarify that this has nothing to do with me disliking female authors, I just want to compare. Thanks!
