Most hugely popular books have been a disappointment for me. Would be easier to name popular books that have amazed me.

Neon Gods has a respectable 3.71 on Goodreads and I gave it a 1.0

The Dutch House. 4.1 stars on Goodreads. This might sound like oversimplification, but literally nothing happens in that book

-,Exciting times by naoise Dolan
– Untamed by glennon Doyle
– Beautiful world where are you by Sally Rooney
– The sellout by Paul beatty
– My year of rest and relaxation by otessa moshfegh
– Queenie by candice carty Williams
– Three women by Lisa taddeo

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch.
It was so hyped on Reddit I thought it has to be good. The experience was a good reminder that a lot of people on Reddit are a lot younger than me and a lot more into action movies than I am.
