I recently started reading Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries and found myself surprised with how much I enjoyed reading from the perspective of an intelligent woman who was well versed in her field. Yes, her field was faeries, but it was surprisingly enjoyable nonetheless.
It made me realise I need more of this in my reading and would love some recommendations.
I’m not fussy about the context, my only preference is that it be fiction I’d be less enthusiastic about romance suggestions but welcome them nonetheless. I would love to read about women in STEM but this is not necessarily required.
