I’ve done First Law, ASOAIF, The Expanse, and Ender’s Game + Shadow offshoots, and Red Rising.
Some of the characters in all of these are hit or miss. First Law and ASOIAF definitely offer some of Fantasy’s best.
Trying Malazan, but honestly I hate how ruthlessly it drops information on you. I’ll get back to it sometime, but not now.
