Mystery and Romance (not necessarily together)

I’m in a bit of a reading slump, but lately I’ve been wanting to read more Romance and Murder Mystery – any recs?

I recently read all of Emily Henry’s books and loved them – Beach Read and Book Lovers gave me big Gilmore Girls vibes so if anyone has any Stars Hollows/Lorelai/Luke vibey books I’d much appreciate! I tend to stay away from smut heavy books as I find the characters to be quite intolerable (sorry!), but if there’s anything you believe is a must read let me know 🙂

I’ve also wanted to read murder mysteries (preferably a series with repeat characters). Think Castle, Bones, NCIS type stuff. Gritty murders with more lighthearted main characters and an overarching storyline. I’ve read quite a few Agatha Chrisite books and The Phryne Fisher books.
