Hello! I‘m new. I just finished reading the cruel prince and was very unhappy about the ending. Jude betraying Cardan was just not what I thought the outcome would be. I know she did it for the sake of oak, but I didn’t think she liked oak that much and it kind of felt like Jude just betrayed carden for the sake of power. I had pictured a really promising future of Jude loving Carden, which I thought the book would end with. I thought that Jude, with the help of Carden, would learn that she didn’t need so much power, if she had love. I also wondered why she would care so much about the Fey World, and the kingdoms monarchy to feel the need to ‘save’ the kingdom from Madoc and Balekin. Regarding my view of the book, does anyone think I should finish the series? Moreover, would I be satisfied if did? Is it worth the effort? Please Let me know!
