I’ve just started a degree in Geography and Environmental Science and I’m looking to some introductory reading around the subject area. Not academic tomes at this point, but books for the general reader. I’ve got the following books below lined up and looking for similar:
A Short History of Nearly Everything – Bill Bryson
The Power of Geography, Prisoners of Geography and The Future of Geography – Tim Marshall
Doughnut Economics – Kate Raworth
Feral and Regenesis – George Monbiot
Otherlands – Thomas Halliday
Any suggestions welcome and appreciated 🙂

Any of David Attenborough’s books. They’re all great.
Fire Weather by John Vaillant
