Holy shit! This book is incredible. My first read by Feeney, and I am not disappointed! I did not catch the big twist that Amelia wasn’t actually the one writing the letters. So creative. I was really nervous that the twist was going to be along the lines of Adam faking his disorder. I’m glad it wasn’t that, would have been too predictable in my opinion. I also loved that twists kept happening. Like Adam actually being the driver of his mom’s killer machine. Did not see that one coming.
However, I am still confused as to why Adam already knew the old chapel like the back of his hand? It mentions several times from both perspectives that he is familiar with the house but is acting as if it’s his first time there. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe the ending explains that at all. Im trying to make sense of it. Please give me some insight on that if you’ve read it!
I have Daisy Darker on my bookshelf and plan to read that by Feeney next. Out of her other books, what are your favorites?? I want to check them out. 🙂
