I always used to read books that had something to do with animals as a kid. Now as an adult I’m struggling with finding interesting books, does anyone know good books with animals in them?
The classic Watership Down by Richard Adams is the story of a group of rabbits on an epic journey in search of home.
Animal Farm by George Orwell.
Tailchaser’s Song by Tad Williams focuses on a cat named Fritti Tailchaser, set in a world of other anthropomorphic animals who live in their natural environments but each have their own language, mythology, and culture.
Written for a young audience, but still excellent is the Redwall series by Brian Jaques about the adventures of the anthropomorphic animals inhabiting Redwall Abbey and the surrounding countryside of Mossflower Wood.
