My daughter likes to read and the last two years at school has won the award for the most words read in her year group. To submit a book as read it has to be a new book and you have to answer a quiz on it. She has been reading a lot of young adult books lately so we are looking for recommendations for more. Enjoyed so far, Twilight, hunger games, Percy Jackson series’ and kane chronicles, the “one of us is lying” series and all other Karen McManus books, harry potter… Open to all genres really that would be suitable for a 13 year old 🙂
Her school use the accelerated reader programme for the quizzes so if you know they are on that, that would be an extra bonus!

The absolute best books I ever read when I was her age (and again when I was 17 and again when I was 27) were the Underlander Chronicles by Suzanne Collins. If your daughter liked the Hunger Games she should absolutely read these next.
