I’m tired of zombie/disease apocalypse stories. I want to read some apocalypse/post apocalypse stories where the disaster is a inter dimensional eldritch horror that causes half of humanity to go insane, murderous beings that appear as dead love ones, every house in the world becoming sentient and eating people, etc.
I’m looking for extreme “we don’t understand this phenomenon and can’t stop it” kind of story.
