I recently watched a video that talked about the lizard brain, and how we humans are generally not as conscious as we think.
Also that we are not really rational, for the most part we just choose to believe in random stuff and rationalise it later even if it doesn’t make sense because we don’t like our worldview being challenged (ego defense). These ideas fascinate me and I would love to learn more about them, do you have any recommendations regarding these topics?
